Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at her residence after a long illness. Born July, 25, 1955, she was the daughter of Hugh and Carolyn Adams Motz of Stockport. She was a homemaker who also worked at Ginny's Flower Shop in McConnelsville prior to the illness. She graduated from Morgan High School and was a member of Stockport United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Charles Keith Hutchinson; a son, Heath Hutchinson of Nelsonville; three daughters, Nikki Malone of Dayton, Shaunda Fox of McConnelsville and Heidi Hutchinson of Baltimore; four grandchildren; a brother, Mike Motz of Hackney; two sisters, Tammy Morrow of McConnelsville and Peggy Harlow of Stockport; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Adams of Stockport. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb.

12, 1908, near Summerfield, she was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Monroe and Noble counties. She was also a Protestant by faith. Surviving are two daughters, Hazel Cornell and her husband, Leo of Zanesville and Marcella Briggs and her husband, Roger of Woodsfield; two sons, Joe Powell and his wife, Gloria of Zanesville and Hugh Powell of Quaker City; two daughters-in-law, Betty Powell and Marilyn Powell, both of Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Emmett (Lovella) Markley of Canton, Evelyn Price of Massillon and Gladys Brownfield of East Sparta; one brother, Virgil "Bus" Farnsworth of Inman, S.C.;, 33 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 11 She was preceded in death by her parents, John and O'Dessie Morris Farnsworth; her husband, Howard "Tink" Powell; five sons, Lod, Denver, Larry, Leo and Stanley Powell; two daughters, Bertha Curlutu and Darlene Powell; one foster son, Harold Burghy; two brothers, Stanley and Hobart Farnsworth; one sister, Clarice Brownfield; greatgrandsons; and one great granddaughter.

Born Feb. 12, 1918, in Zanesville, she was a member of First Christian Church, where she was very active, and taught Sunday school for 27 years. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Lee Jones of Newark and Charles W. Jones of Crooksville; one daughter, Juanita L. Pendleton of Ashland, Ky; one stepson, William Edwin Bensonhaver of Lancaster; one stepdaughter, Ramona Bell Loy of Lancaster; 18 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William W. and Ollie Williams Parkinson; her first husband, Elmer A. Jones, who died in 1962; her second husband, James Russell Bensonhaver, who died in 1992; one sister; and one grandson. Hicks officiating. Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery. Ava Stalter Finck, 97 NEW LEXINGTON Ava Stalter Finck, 97, of 214 Maple Heights, New Lexington, died at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997, at Americare Nursing Center in New Lexington.

Born Aug. 4, 1899, in Dixie, she was a lifetime resident of Perry County and her mother died when she was one-year-old, so she was raised by her loving grandparents on Maple Heights in New Lexington. She and her husband raised their family on a farm i in Junction City and retired back to Maple Heights, where she spent the last 46 years of her life. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington and was among the first graduation class of St.

Rose School in 1913. Surviving are two sons, David J. (Gay) Finck of Junction City and Charles E. (Elizabeth) Finck of Newark; 36 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; and 78 greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Frank" Finck, who died in 1 1988; her parents, Edward and Ruhamah Spicer Stalter; two sons, Frank Finck, who died in 1978 and James Finck, who died in 1997; one daughter, Mary Ruth Gordon, who died in 1945; four brothers; two sisters; and three greatgrandchildren.

Calling hours are 2 to 9 p.m. today at Chute Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson New Lexington with Christian Wake services at 8:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan.

CRIME ZANESVILLE POLICE Someone busted a car window Tuesday at 1142 Greenwood Ave. White Chevrolet reported that someone wrote a check to the business for $600 on Dec. 9 and that the check was later returned due to insufficient funds. Police responded to a report that a youth had went into a closed office at 299 Putnam Ave. and got into a purse.

Someone slashed the tires of a Jeep parked at 34 S. Fourth St. Tuesday. A house at 2335 Wilmer St. was entered through a broken window and several items were taken.
