I realize you won’t ever get the EXACT style that you ask for, but Jesus christ. My stylist was rude and I felt uncomfortable. I asked for lots of layers at shoulder length.. now I look like 24 year old white Dora and I wanna kms. Thanks Marlo, this definitely helped get me out of the depression rutt. I’ve always had a good experience here for my 9 year old son. We usually see Holly (who is amazing and has a great attitude) but today we saw Marlo. Marlo was awesome!!! She really took her time and made my son feel super special. He suffers from alopecia and has big round bald spots all over his head and has even lost all his hair before, so he absolutely hates getting hair cuts. But she was super nice talking to him the entire time to get his mind off of it and explained everything that she was doing and why. She even had a big drawer full of candy that she had him go into afterwards to get one piece for him and his two little sisters. I paid $22 for the cut and left a $5 tip.

I’m not speaking about all of the people who work at the salon but the hairstylist that we received at this specific salon was very disrespectful. I took my five year old daughter to get a haircut and the stylist was rude the entire time. She showed me the receipt before hand, of the price, which included over $19 for the cut itself and over $11 for the length (the length price I found to be a little ridiculous considering my daughter is 5, her hair is barley past her shoulders and is very thin. Also the stylist cut about two inches off, but I agreed to the haircut anyways). After she had cut her hair I asked her if she could straighten it real quick (my daughter already has straight-ish hair so this took about five minutes). The hairstylist did tell me it would be extra but when I got to the register they charged me over $32 to straighten my five year olds hair. Now, I understand that they are going by SmartStyle hair prices but that is outrageous. So all in all, I paid around $67 for my 5 year olds hair cut, that is not including the 10% tip (I don’t know why I tipped). I’m mostly astonished at SmartStyle prices. So be careful going to any SmartStyle for a kids cut if your child’s’ hair is longer than shoulder length or if you want it styled because you’ll be paying over $65. To top my experience off, she stylist burned my daughters ear and her haircut was completely crooked. I did manage to get a refund for the $19 cut but because they gave her a “full style” I still paid over $65 for her haircut.

After checking in on there app, and selecting haircut and shampoo, for 22 dollars the lady who cut my hair asked me if I wanted my hair shampooed, I stated yes since it came with the haircut, we’ll time to check out she charged me 5 extra dollars for using conditioner and I never asked for it, or she never told me there was an extra charge before washing my hair I tried to fill out the complaint form on there website and it wouldn’t let me submit it.

I web checked in for 2:30 PM and reached on time. The staff said I still need to wait and I was completely fine with that. But her behavior towards me was completely rude. She literally started staring at me for asking what will be the wait time. I just walked away. It’s good I didn’t get a hair cut for this salon. Treat your customers in a good manner.

I went in, asked for a wash, cut and blow dry, expecting no more than a $35 charge. I was charged $22.00 for the hair cut, $21.32 for the blow dry and $5.39 for the conditioner. Now for just a haircut wash and blow dry that seems a little bit excessive. Especially when my mother-in-law had the exact same thing done 2 weeks ago for $35 (and that included the tip)
